Cast iron fencing originally presented in rusty condition, with multiple layers of failing paint. One structural element for mounting as fence was missing. Corresponding element was removed for balance, paint layers chemically removed, surface were brushed clear with a stiff wire wheel, and color wax and patina applied for ultimate presentation indoors as a decorative wall element.
