Old French copper cookware with worn and unusable tin lining. Exposed copper make using such pans dangerous, altering the taste of food, with possible toxic effect.
Pans are thoroughly cleaned, heated to temperature and swabbed with molten tin (a noble metal) that provides a conductive non reactive barrier between copper and food. Outsides of pans are buffed to a mirror shine.
Serving the Washington DC region and beyond.
